PRESS RELEASE

Aris Petroupolis Elite Football Academy & Tryouts 2026–2027

The Petroupolis Academy is delighted to announce the launch and operation of the Aris Petroupolis Elite Football Academy.

In a move that reaffirms our excellent collaboration, the management of Aris Petroupolis has entrusted us with the organization, operation, and guidance of the new, high-level Elite Academy. This trust validates our efforts and ensures that the new elite programs will be developed according to high-level, modern, and fully professional standards.

The Elite Academy Team

To achieve this goal, the Elite Academy’s staff consists of individuals with in-depth knowledge, scientific training, and many years of distinguished experience on the field and in management.

• Management — Panagiotis Dougiekos: holder of a UEFA C coaching license, with many years of service as a player and coach, and extensive experience in the administration of sports academies.
• Technical Director — Vasilis Baltas: Professor of Physical Education specializing in soccer, holder of a UEFA A license. He has many years of experience as a coach; as a player, he had a distinguished career and was a member of the National Youth and Junior teams.
• Physical Conditioning — Dimitris Vafeiadis: Head of Physical Conditioning for the elite divisions and youth teams of the Petroupolis Academy (Keravnos Petroupolis — 2nd EPSA & Anagennisi Petroupolis — 3rd EPSA). Physical Education teacher specializing in soccer, holder of a UEFA B license, with years of experience in youth soccer.

At the same time, the Petroupolis Academy continues to operate according to the same consistent philosophy, always focusing on the children, their well-rounded development, and their athletic growth.

Throughout our steady progress, we focus on helping our athletes develop their soccer skills, reach high levels of performance, and open up new horizons for the next big step in their athletic development.

The Aris Petroupolis Elite Football Academy is being added as a new component, right next to and parallel with our existing Academy, and will be dedicated exclusively to the creation of Elite teams. Aris Petroupolis, already a member of our unified academy, is taking this next major step and creating teams this year to compete in elite leagues, selecting top-level athletes.
