The St. Petersburg Academy—our Academy, the Academy of all of St. Petersburg—is celebrating one year of successful operation!!!

It was created with great passion, love for children, and hard work, following the merger of our city’s three academies: Aris, Keravnos, and Anagennisi!

Over the past year, we all worked hard and managed to improve in every way!

We’ve all learned valuable life lessons and had unforgettable experiences, which we’ll put into action so that in the coming years we’ll be even more prepared, effective, and productive!

The Academy’s smooth operation is due to the strong sense of community that has developed—even more so this year—and has allowed us to realize many of our dreams in an environment of inclusion, acceptance, and respect!

The Petroupolis Academy operates according to a carefully structured training program, designed specifically for each age group, with coaches following specific training protocols based on a unified plan that aims to foster progress, and enjoyment for its athletes. This combination develops athletes who are well-trained in soccer, confident, and full of personality—essential qualities that enable them to excel on any field!

Of course, the driving forces and key contributors to all of this are the coaching staff and each individual coach who brings their own energy to the team, our exceptional athletes—both in terms of athletic performance and character—and, of course, the parents of our children, who stand by us, understanding both that our motivation is always the children’s best interests and the complexity of organizing and running such a large and powerful Academy!

Seated next to us, of course, were the presidents and boards of directors of the three clubs in the Academy Association, who, through their dignified presence and trust, gave the newly established Petroupolis Academy the necessary space to organize itself so it could offer its athletes what it had promised …

Training based on modern concepts and methods, top-notch facilities, and a positive training environment focused on the needs of each athlete!

“A big thank you goes to the current municipal administration and, personally, to Mayor …, as well as to Deputy Mayor … , who are always there for us and with whom we are already discussing many ideas for upgrading the sports facilities, as well as to the former municipal administration and personally to Mr. …, whose assistance was instrumental both in

That first year, however, was just the beginning …

This coming season, the Academy will be stronger than ever, drawing on all the experience it has gained over the years!

The primary goal remains, to prepare and train its athletes, both athletically and psychosocially, so that in a few years they will be ready to join the men’s teams of KERAVNOS PETROUPOLIS, which competes in the Athens C League, ANAGENNISIS PETROUPOLIS, which competes in the Athens B League, and, of course, ARIS PETROUPOLIS, which competes in the National C Division; represents the pinnacle of our Academy’s development project and serves as a stepping stone to other professional teams at an even higher level!

With the new soccer season approaching, the renewal and improvement efforts are already underway, and everyone is working feverishly to carry out projects that will further upgrade the Academy’s facilities and services for its members! For example, a privately owned, fully equipped gym for our athletes—as well as an injury rehabilitation area—will soon be ready at the Academy’s sports center, located at the 3rd Elementary School field in Petroupoli (Grigoriou). These are two truly pioneering initiatives that we typically see in professional teams or in the preparatory programs of major academies abroad!

There are no limits to our dreams for this Academy!

You are our inspiration—all of you who stand by us! Our athletes, parents, and supporters!

At the end of August … we’re off again!
